Thursdays Threads...

Corby Tindersticks are quite frankly amazing... They are quirky, fun and just plain old gorgeous...
We do love Corby Tindersticks here at Skellywear HQ...

Interactive weather maps...
We all know how let down we feel with the UK weather right?... Well now you can create a weather system of your own!!!... Each map comes with eight moveable printed weather symbols... With the release of the new Japanese weather map there's 3 maps to collect UK, the World and now Japan... Learn some geography whilst having fun!...

Corby have also come up with an amazing road map...
A printed canvas bag containing a road map, vehicles and a play along character...
No batteries or flashing lights just childrens imagination and adventures... The map can be anywhere in the world and the fun can be as crazy as you like... Beep beep!...

There's also new characters to add to the old gang of Ralph Raddish, Hip Hop Harold and all the other guys...
Gaston Gary Gledhill, Pomelo Perkins and Bertie Humbug Caterpillar... Bertie is my favourite... What's better than a funky caterpillar?... NOTHING!...

These cheery cheeky little guys are lovingly printed with eco friendly dyes onto organic hemp jersey... (Corby source eco friendly materials wherever possible... They care for the world we live in guys!...)

So if you want fun, funky, quirky design led toys Corby Tindersticks are the ones for you...

Cardboard... Sellotape... Pirate ships...

This week has been a tough week of poorly poorly children (time off nursery) and poorly Mummy (time off work to look after children and self)...

So today even though everyone is still poorly... At 8am during major toddler breakdowns I decided it would be good fun to make a cardboard pirate ship to play with!... 😂 We love pirates in this house...

2.5 hours later... 3 cardboard boxes and a ton of Sellotape that doesn't stick to anything, an anchor, steering wheel and lots and lots of imagination and 1 ahem... Pirate ship!...

It's not the best in the world and could be greatly improved with stronger cardboard, paint, sails, Sellotape that actually sticks, an engineer and possibly some actual instructions to follow...

But I'm sure my littles will get at least 5 minutes of play from it before they wreck it!...
