Armed with a voodoo doll cookie cutter (from amazon) 2 toddler sized people... A gingerbread recipe (thanks to @yesimcharlotte) and we attempted to make our voodoo cursed halloween cookies...
Our first batch wern't very successful the dough was too sticky and ripped apart easily so we made decapitated heads instead...
After baking I decided to experiment with cutting the shapes once they were cooled which worked quite well...
After adding some more flour and an extra 30 mins wrapped up in the fridge, the dough was a better consistency to cut shapes from...
We didn't have that much dough left do made half bodies and erm... Zombie cookies... (I love zombies)...
The end result... They tasted great but were a bit swollen and not quite how I'd imagined them to be... They looked great before going in the oven but not so amazing after... They were fun to make and even more so to eat... #nomnom xx
